Materials
Top soil
Screened top soil is a good choice for filling up raised beds, repairing eroded spots, or filling in holes. When planting a new lawn or overseeding a patchy lawn, you can use a thin layer of topsoil to protect grass seeds as they sprout.
Mulch
Color enriched mulch available in Red, Brown, and Black. Reasons for applying mulch include conservation of soil moisture, improving fertility and health of the soil, reducing weed growth and enhancing the visual appeal of the area. Sold per yard.
Manure
As the soil absorbs manure, nutrients are released. This enriches the soil, which in turn helps the plants. One important benefit of mixing manure with sandy soils helps to retain moisture levels.
Sand
Sand is for leveling between pavers, prevent shifting with walkways, children's playground, sport areas, or zen gardens.
Gravel: 2A & 2B
The only difference between 2B and 2A is that the 2A has some Limestone dust mixed in with the stone, and tends to compact better. 2A is typically used as base material, pipe bedding, and road fill. 2B is used for many applications including drainage, under concrete and on roadways.
Pea Gravel
Pea gravel will not fade, discolor or attract pests. Long-term landscape solution for moisture and soil retention
Boulders
Large boulders for walls, garden beds, residential and commercial property. Give your landscape a pop. Prices vary.
Firewood: Starting at $5 bundles
Seasoned firewood available all year. Wrapped bundles available, as well as 1/2 yard bucket for $50.
River Rock #3
You can use river rock anywhere you would use mulch. The stones help retaining moisture in the soil just as the common mulch does. Sold per ton.
Rock Salt
All winter long, rock salt will be available in bags or truck load. For commercial and residential. Prices vary. Calcium Chloride also available by bag only.
